Ten Common faults of impact Crusher and their Solutions

1、Impact crusher starting equipment not turning

Check if the material in front of the feeder falls into the broken cavity due to stop vibration, causing the material to jam the rotor. Need to clean up the material in the broken cavity and start up again.

2. Heat of impact crusher bearing

Check that the lubrication of the bearings is good, and that the lubricating oil should normally be filled with 50 percent of the bearing capacity; in another case, the lubricating oil is spoiled and thick, and the bearings need to be cleaned and new lubricating oil replaced.

3 Abnormal vibration of equipment

Possible causes and solutions are:

The size of the feed may be too large;

Wear is uneven, counterattack hammer needs to be replaced;

Rotor unbalance, need to be adjusted, proofreading balance;

Check that the equipment anchor bolts are fastened and properly strengthened.

4 Impact crusher belt flip

Mainly because of belt breakage, need to replace triangle belt, pay attention to ensure belt quality; or because of the improper assembly of pulley, we need to adjust the active, driven pulley in the same plane.

5 Bending or breaking of machine bearings

Main reasons include long-term overload operation of main engine, improper heat treatment of bearings, hardness of broken materials and so on. When processing, must replace the new bearing, and in the later operation process pay attention to maintenance and repair.

6 Impact crusher appear stuffy car

There are many reasons for the sudden shutdown of the impact crusher in operation, such as clogging of discharge opening, slip of belt, low voltage, bearing damage, and so on. These problems should be eliminated, such as removing clogs from discharge ports, tightening belts, increasing voltage and ensuring voltage stability, replacing bearings, etc.

7. Rupture of spring parts of equipment

The main reason for this failure is that the spring is not relaxed when adjusting the discharge port. Therefore, the broken spring must be replaced during treatment.

8 Internal abnormal noise of broken cavity

Stop immediately to check if metal impurities or parts are broken in the broken chamber and clean up the crusher cavity; check the fastening of the inner liner and the gap between the plate hammer and the liner, which can cause abnormal noise if the gap is too small.

9. The equipment has a taste of glue in operation

The main cause of this problem is belt slip, friction and heating with pulley to produce a harsh rubber smell, or the rotor is stuck, it is necessary to check the rotor in the machine cavity and solve it in time.

10. The size of discharge is too large.

It is shown that the plate hammer or counterattack liner of the counter-attack crusher is worn seriously, which causes the gap between the plate hammer and the counterattack plate to be too large, adjusts the clearance between the front and back counterattack frame, or replaces the lining plate and the plate hammer. Adjust the position of counterattack frame so that the gap between the two sides and the rack liner is even; if the liner on the rack is worn seriously, it should be replaced in time.
